Our Own High School offers a curriculum designed and developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi and prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination (at the end of Grade 10) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (at the end of Grade 12) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India.
Assessment and Evaluation
Students are evaluated against a system of marks and grades scored in assessment tests and examinations held during the course of the academic year and their progress is monitored carefully. Grades 1-3 have a system of continuous evaluation with one annual examination at the end of the academic year while Grades 4-12 have a partly continuous system of evaluation supplemented by terminal examinations.
Advantages
Students after successful completion of All India Senior School Certificate Examination, are eligible for admissions to universities and higher education colleges anywhere in the world (subject to the conditions prescribed).The AISSC Examination is widely recognized by all Indian and international universities. Students find placements in professional, technical and general education courses in India and abroad as they do exceedingly well in SAT examinations.
