As a visionary leader, Lavina is dedicated to driving excellence, fostering innovation, and inspiring growth, with 27 years of experience in the field of education. As Supervisor of Grade 8, she is leading strategic initiatives in pedagogy, curriculum alignment, and student success. Her previous roles include Assistant Teaching & Learning Supervisor, Head of English Department, and Professional Learning & Development Leader—each focused on mentoring educators and elevating learning outcomes.

Her work has earned national and international recognition: an Exemplary grade in the Developing Future Leaders Programme, a feature in Which School Advisor, as one of 12 outstanding UAE educators, and honors from the Indian Consulate. Within GEMS, she has received the GEMS Excellence Award and the Tellal Institute’s Virtual Apple Award.

As a CBSE Resource Person, Lavina has conducted impactful training across the Gulf and India. She has also led transformative student initiatives such as the Student for Student Programme, Reading Literacy Programme, Big Green Legacy, and Personality Development Programme.
